The median is £59/kg; 10% cost less than £40/kg, 10% more than £80/kg (n = 117 coffees with a price).
Natural is the most common process (54% of the coffees with a known process).
Where the roasters state the altitude (77%), it is mostly between 2,000 and 2,200 m.

Ethiopia is regarded as the birthplace of Arabica coffee: in the mountain forests of the south-west, Coffea arabica still grows wild. Most Ethiopian coffee comes from smallholders who deliver their cherries to washing stations, so many coffees carry the name of a station or village rather than a farm. Well-known regions include Sidama (also spelt Sidamo), Yirgacheffe, Guji and Limu.
Instead of named varieties, most farms grow local landraces, sold as “Heirloom” or “Ethiopian landrace”. Roasters often describe washed Ethiopian coffees as floral and citrusy, and naturals more with berries.
