The median is £45/kg; 10% cost less than £36/kg, 10% more than £63/kg (n = 116 coffees with a price).
Natural is the most common process (85% of the coffees with a known process).
Where the roasters state the altitude (61%), it is mostly between 1,000 and 1,150 m.

Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer. Most of its speciality coffee comes from Minas Gerais – from the Cerrado Mineiro with its wide high plateaus and from the hilly Sul de Minas – and also from Mogiana, the Chapada Diamantina and Espírito Santo. The most widespread varieties are Catuai and Mundo Novo; Yellow Bourbon, with a particularly sweet cup, is popular with roasters.
Naturals and pulped naturals are typical: roasters mostly describe Brazilian coffees with chocolate, hazelnut and caramel, a heavy body and little bright acidity. That is why Brazil is the base of many espressos and a safe choice for a bean to cup machine.
